An original principal of Lighthouse, Scott Perkins is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and oversees a range of its business activities, including firm‑wide strategy, product and business development, investor relations, technology, and legal and compliance.

Prior to joining Lighthouse in 2001, Scott worked in business development with a publicly traded technology firm, where he was responsible for business strategy, including negotiating joint venture relationships with industry leaders, and evaluating equity investment opportunities. Previously, he served as a corporate attorney specializing in corporate and banking transactions with the law firm of Mays & Valentine, LLP. A former Certified Public Accountant, he began his career at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP. Scott earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from the College of William & Mary and his J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law.
