John Reese is Senior Vice President with EasternGen and since February 2007 with USPowerGen its predecessor company. Mr. Reese has oversight of Eastern Generation’s Government and Regulatory Affairs, IT, HR, Environment, Project Development and External Affairs. Prior to this Mr. Reese was as Executive Deputy from 2006 until 2007 and as Senior Policy Advisor from 2003 until 2006 at the New York State Public Service Commission. Mr. Reese also served as Vice President of Regulatory and External Affairs for Reliant/Orion Power Holdings from 2000 until 2003. Mr. Reese was a Senior Technical Advisor for the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy from 1994 until 1998. Mr. Reese has extensive experience in the formation and operation of the northeastern competitive markets. Mr. Reese has a BA from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Russell Sage College.
