Wallace Truesdale

Executive Vice President & General Counsel

Wallace J. Truesdale is a corporate tax attorney that has extensive experience with strategic tax planning, cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution. 


He has experience working as a “Big Four” Tax Advisor, as in-house Counsel and with the Federal government (Treasury Department). He has provided technical guidance on a variety of complex business transactions and reorganizations, performing due diligence activities, drafting legal documentation and addressing issues related to project financing, transfer pricing, tax treatise, repatriation and legal entity structuring.


He has represented private equity funds, global businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations. Mr. Truesdale has a deep understanding of the processes and motivations that often drive investors and business analysts. Understanding how and why these professionals make investment/operational decisions allows him to focus on the essential business and legal considerations. 

Mr. Truesdale pursued his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College and received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He then went on to attend Washington and Lee University School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor. Mr. Truesdale subsequently obtained his LL.M. in Taxation from Villanova School of Law and his LL.M in Banking and Finance from Fordham School of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and the United States Tax Court.
